The red raiders lost a season-high seventh straight last night to colorado, but good news came around today...Tech juniors John roberson and Mike singletary were named to the All-Big 12 Honorable ention list. atleast a little something positive as the red raiders head into the big 12 tournament.
Both singletary and roberson have started each and every game played this season...Mike leads the team in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game while roberson is slightly behind him with 14.4 a contest...
It is the first time singletary has been voted to the squad while john was selected to the group as a freshman. earlier this season, john became texas tech's career assist leader, and mike became the 34th red raider to join the 1000-point club.
The dynamic duo will lead tech against colorado on wednesday in the big 12 tournament opener..Catch that game on my fox lubbock at 11:30 in the morning
