Chuck Heinz is a 18 year season ticket holder of Texas Tech Football, though he wasn't raised a Red Raider, he married one as soon as he could. Chuck and his wife Laura have two daughters, Stephani and Samantha who are also Tech grads.
A graduate of the Univeristy of Kansas, Chuck is in his 28th year of broadcasting since leave KU in 1983. He has called high school and junior college football and basketball games as well as professional indoor soccer. Chuck is from the Kansas City suburb of Overland Park where he followed the Chiefs and Royals. Since moving to the greatest state in America, Chuck has adopted the Cowboys and Red Raiders as his own.
Chuck is also very active in the Lubbock community hosting the Free Community Wide Thanksgiving Dinner and is a longtime participant in the Christmas is for Children program. When Chuck isn't working, which is rare, he enjoys golfing and obeying Mrs. Heinz.
