Rangers slugger Josh Hamilton held a press conference regarding his relapse with alcohol.

The Rangers said in a statement that they are "aware of a situation but have no further comment at this time."

The Texas Rangers and manager Ron Washington agreed to a two-year extension Monday, putting the skipper under contract through 2014
